After a great last week of testing, we’ve been busy getting things ready for the trip to San Diego.<\/p>\n

First up for SubjuGator 7: a nice bath with Patrick. Well actually, the only shower at the pool was in the locker room, so we had to do what we had to do. Chlorine and anodization don’t get along!<\/p>\n

Next, we organized our\u00a0equipment\u00a0into categories based on utility and daily use. Pre-packing included sorting boxes which stay at the hotel, travel to the Transdec but stay in the car, and are needed daily in the tent. We’ve accumulated enough Pelican boxes over the past few years to officially eliminate the use of all cardboard boxes during our trip. This is great for the team since it\u00a0guarantees\u00a0our gear arrives without damage. \u00a0Additionally, the sub travels in its own case, fully assembled. This reduces assembly time when we arrive and helps to reduce the need to recalibrate everything.<\/p>\n
